[Vatheon really seems to like Ken in armor, doesn't it? This week, he's been shoved into this, though with a spear instead of swords. There's a brief grin from Ken, as he picks up the SFC and tucks it into a strap, carrying it with him as he leaps onto a roof.]

[There's no real sound, other than the clatter of his shoes on the roofs, the rush of wind… and Ken laughing.]

[[ooc; Ken has become a samurai from SenBasa, wielding electricity. Why is a samurai using a spear and wearing armor that isn't quite the right period? Because it's awesome and shut up, that's why. :|b]]

[Yeah well. Orange is better. Ken jams the butt of his spear against the ground, using his momentum to catapult himself into the air, trying to catch Masamune from above.]

[So he wants the height advantage, does he? Masamune never was one to back down if he could help it. Instead of moving to the side, he leaps up to meet Ken midway, katana at his side to swipe up and horizontally.]

[Sparks fly from where their blades meet, and Ken leaps back, looking for an opening in Masamune's defense. He rushes forward, dropping down at the last second to try to slide underneath the other's blade and attack that way.]

[Masamune also acts at the last second by doing a small backflip into the air, narrowly avoiding the slide attack by a mere inch or two. He leans his upper torso forward so that he descends straight for Ken, a downward swipe of his katana at the ready.]

[Ken's eyes follow Masamune, and he pulls himself up on one knee, bringing his spear up to block with the shaft.]

[There's a loud clang as the blade violently rebounds off the shaft. Masamune uses the spear as leverage to push himself back, where he resumes battle position again. Barely visible sparks surround the katana as he starts charging electricity, waiting for Ken to make the next move.]

[Ken doesn't pull himself fully to his feet, instead using the position to start a low rush, staying low and hoping to knock Masamune off his feet.]
